Cheeseburgers (and shoes) in Paradise...

Two words: Bucket List

Two more words: JIMMY BUFFETT!

I like mine with lettuce and tomatoes...

Yes, my dreams are coming true this Saturday. The parking lot opens at 10 am and after many "What to wear to a Jimmy Buffett concert" Google searches... the answer is finally clear: A coconut bra and grass skirt. Since that wouldn't be the most attractive look on this bod...

I'm opting for a more traditional Jay Buff look. I found the tackiest men's Hawaiian shirt possible at Goodwill. That shall be worn over a pink tank with some ripped jean shorts. I'm hoping I make the final look, look something like this:

Now for the hard part... the shoes.  I found a really great pair of flip flops at Goodwill that had like 14 plastic grapes on them...but I think I'll save those for when I go to Italy. I'm thinking wedges for when I arrive and flats... for when I fall flat on my face because I'm wastey at a Jimmy Buffett concert:

 Then after I fall...

AND IF ALL ELSE FAILS...JIMMY HAS THE RIGHT IDEA:

Workout Wednesday!

It's Workout Wednesday! I'm so excited to share my recent FIRST EVER Nike shoe purchase with you! Before I do that, let me explain my inspiration, since there is always inspiration.

My New Year's resolution was to lose some serious L.Bees before all of these weddings I have to attend/participate in. I have to look PinterestFabulous, so L.A Fitness it is. (I actually really love my gym: definitely recommend dishing out the $35/month if you are looking to get snazzy like myself). But I must say, when getting dressed for the gym, I've never been the type to go all out with the matching sports bra and leggings with pops of highlighter yellow in all the right places. No no. Not me. Not that there's anything wrong with that. (Did you all get that Seinfeld reference?) I like throwing on a junky tshirt, leggings, some sneaks, and sweating out all the vodka crans from the last post.

Keepin' it Classy at the Gym
One thing I do pride myself in however, are the said 'sneaks' that I adorn my feet with. I feel like looking like a crazy homeless lady from the ankles up... and then shocking the world with a beautiful pair of sneakers speaks volumes to my fellow gym goers. It says: Yes, it may look like I haven't seen a shower in months, but I'm here to shed some serious calories on this here treadmill. My best friend ALWAYS had the most PinterestFabulous Nikes... before Pinterest was even in existence! They were so bright and so spunky. Just like her! I found the perfect first pair of Nike sneakers to add to my shoe collection from Kohl's for $69! (Which I can definitely splurge on seeing as I'm living at home with my parents again...womp womp. One of the perks I guess). Anyways, here they are for your shoegasmic pleasure:

I seriously love them so much. They are light as a feather, they have two fun pops of color, and they are so so so comfy! Sometimes I just walk around the entire gym with extra long strides to in hopes that people ooh, aww, and take notice to what I'm workin'. I don't think that's what ends up happening but oh well. I dream about these shoes at work. I countdown the hours that I have left until I can put them on again. Did I mention that I LOVE THEM? I'm officially a Nike Addict. I think my next pair will look a little something like this:

The pale gray and pretty in pink combo is perfection. These will definitely be on my feet in the near future. I also saw this nifty little water bottle on Amazon. How clever!

Time to go workout!

Stay Sweatin', Stay Shoegasmic.

Tis the season for ... WEDDINGS!

I have to say, I used to absolutely HATE weddings. You don't know 90% of the people you are surrounded by all night, you're supposed to dance (and I can't to save my life), and I always leave hungry. But then I turned 21... and suddenly weddings became the most anticipated events of the year. Now when I attend, 90% of the people are my new best friends, I convince myself that I am a better dancer than Michael Jackson, and I leave with a belly full of vodka crans.

Aside from the never ending flow of liquid courage, my second favorite aspect of weddings has become The Outfit. I LOVE getting dressed for a wedding, so much so, that I am dedicating my first ever blog to My Outfit. Let's start with my inspiration for my dress. The wedding is in Sarasota, FL, with a sunset cruise as the reception. I wanted something light, flowy, and somehow the perfect blend of the end of winter and almost spring...whatever that looks like. To me, it looks a little something like this:

I love the look of navy blue and nude. It exudes classically simple and effortlessly chic. Something else that fits this exact description: any Steve Madden creation. While in search of the perfect pair of nude wedges to complete my wedding Outfit, I ventured right over to shoe heaven at Nordstrom Rack and heard these sweet beautiful nude angels calling my name:

$45 later.... my Outfit is complete...

Until I convince myself to buy a new necklace. I'm thinking long gold.  If I find something PinterestFabulous, I'll be sure to add it.

Until then: Stay Sexy, Stay Shoegasmic
